As a photographer it is a fantastic experience to tell a story with images. My main areas of focus are documentary and still life photography although I enjoy nature and landscape photography as well. I work with both film and digital formats and use mainly natural light as much as I possibly can.
My most recent work has focused on grief and mental health. These are universal topics, and I always have in mind the fact that everyone has their own stories which may be hard to share. Sometimes it helps to make a visual representation of something that can't be put into words.
The Arcade
This documentary project allowed me to capture the essence of everyday life at one of Europe's oldest city markets, George's Street Arcade. With people who have been selling for years, along with new businesses and the visiting tourists, no trip to the arcade is ever the same. The extraordinary architecture acts as the perfect backdrop for daily goings-on in the heart of Dublin City Centre.
